Stadia Group Expands Partnership with Leyton Orient FC as Men’s Sleeve Partner and South Stand Sponsor
Stadia Group is proud to announce the expansion of its partnership with Leyton Orient Football Club, becoming the club’s Men’s First Team Sleeve Partner and Tommy Johnston South Stand Sponsor as part of a new multi-year agreement.
Having proudly served as Leyton Orient’s Official Utilities Partner since 2023, the enhanced partnership marks the next stage in a relationship built on collaboration, innovation, and club growth. The agreement reflects Stadia Group’s ongoing commitment to helping organisations reduce costs, improve operational efficiency, and achieve their sustainability ambitions.
As a leading UK commercial utilities and waste consultancy, Stadia Group specialises in the procurement and management of utility supply contracts, delivering commercially viable energy solutions with a strong focus on sustainability, renewable technologies, and long-term value.
Over the past three seasons, Stadia Group has managed Leyton Orient’s gas, electricity, and water supply while working closely with the club to identify opportunities to improve sustainability and reduce energy costs.
One of the partnership’s most significant achievements has been the installation of solar panels across the North and East Stands at the BetWright Stadium. Having identified the opportunity, Stadia Group worked closely with the club and its solar partner to coordinate the scheme, helping to advance the club’s sustainability ambitions while reducing operating costs.
The installation has delivered significant environmental and financial benefits, reducing the club’s carbon emissions by 68 tonnes each year and generating annual savings of approximately £68,000.
Beyond utilities, the partnership has also supported a range of community initiatives alongside the Leyton Orient Trust, including school tournaments, educational programmes, ticket giveaway initiatives and careers events, creating opportunities for young people across East London.
The expanded agreement will see Stadia Group become a Principal Partner, with its branding featuring on the O’s men’s first-team shirts throughout the 2026/27 and 2027/28 campaigns.
Chris Birkinshaw, Managing Director at Stadia Group, said:
“Our relationship with Leyton Orient has evolved considerably since 2023. We’re proud not only of the savings and sustainability improvements we’ve helped deliver, but also of the positive impact we’ve been able to make within the local community. Becoming Men’s Sleeve and South Stand Sponsor is a natural progression of that relationship, and we’re excited to continue supporting the club’s ambitions over the coming seasons.”
Pa Lette, Partnership Account Manager at Leyton Orient, said:
“We’re incredibly proud to see our partnership with Stadia Group continue to grow. Over the past three years, they’ve become much more than a supplier to the football club. They’ve become a key, strategic partner who shares our ambitions both on and off the pitch. We have formed great relationships with their staff over the years.
“Their support has extended far beyond utilities, from helping us make significant strides on our sustainability journey through the installation of solar panels, to working alongside the Leyton Orient Trust to deliver meaningful community projects across East London.
“Together, the organisations have delivered school tournaments, educational initiatives, ticket giveaway programmes and careers events, creating opportunities for young people across East London.
“We would like to thank everyone at Stadia Group for their continued support, loyalty and commitment over the past three years. We look forward to building on this fantastic partnership over the coming seasons and achieving even more together.”
Ravi Patel, Chief Commercial Officer at Leyton Orient, added:
“I’d like to extend my sincere thanks to Chris Birkinshaw and everyone at Stadia Group for their outstanding support since our partnership began. Chris and his team have played a key role in helping us manage our utilities at Leyton Orient, always providing expert advice, innovative solutions and a proactive approach that has delivered real benefits for the football club.
“Nothing is ever too much trouble for Stadia. Whether it’s responding to day-to-day requirements or supporting larger strategic projects, Chris and his team are always on hand to help, making them a trusted and valued partner of the club.
“I’d also like to recognise the fantastic relationship that Pa [Lette] has built with the wider Stadia Group team over the past three years. The strong working partnership between both organisations has been instrumental in the success of our collaboration and has created a genuine sense of trust and shared ambition.
“We’re incredibly grateful for Stadia Group’s continued commitment to Leyton Orient and look forward to working closely with Chris and the wider team on a number of exciting projects in the years ahead, as we continue to strengthen this successful partnership both on and off the pitch.”
The expanded partnership reinforces Stadia Group’s commitment to delivering innovative utility, energy, and sustainability solutions that create lasting value for organisations across the UK. As both organisations look ahead to the 2026/27 and 2027/28 seasons, the partnership will continue to drive operational excellence, sustainability, and positive community impact both on and off the pitch.
