The partnership will see Stadia Utilities take care of all the Fisher County Ground stadium waste requirements for the next three seasons.
John Rutherford, Ground Manager spoke on the partnership: “Stadia Utilities have over 30 years’ experience and are forward thinking in their approach when it comes to responsible disposal. The Stadia Utilities team filled us with every confidence they will deliver an excellent waste management service for the club and this represents one of a number of steps the club is taking to improves its waste processes in order to help protect the environment.”
Andrew Goode, National Sales Manager at Stadia Utilities said: “We at Stadia Utilities are pleased to announce that we have secured a 3-year contract with Leicestershire County Cricket Club working with a local supplier Enva to provide a cost effective and complete waste solution to reduce Leicestershire County Cricket Club’s landfill waste.
Our aim is to support the club in its endeavour to reduce general waste and furthermore increase the recycling rates by offering individual waste streams bespoke to the Club’s needs that will ensure that the landfill rates are reduced, and recycling rates are increased.”
