Following the news that Extra Energy, an energy supplier with about 108,000 domestic and 21,000 business customers, has ceased trading it has been announced by Ofgem that they have appointed Scottish Power as the new energy supplier. All Extra Energy accounts will be transferred to a Scottish Power and put on a Deemed tariff which may or may not be the best contract for your business.
Customers will not be able to switch suppliers or change tariff until the transfer process is complete. They also won’t be charged exit fees for switching away from Scottish Power.
